As we now look forward to the new semester I would like to
stress that we have great opportunities for service. We have Spring
Service Day, Absolutely Incredible Kids Day, and during the summer,
a service corp during the BSA National Jamboree. Active and Alumni
Members alike should find ways to help the youth of our country
during the coming semester. For me, I'm working with an
organization that is helping to raise money and awareness about the
needs of the youth in my home area. What will you do?
As we venture into a new year, let our commitment to our
Fraternity's cardinal principles be the focus of our resolutions.
Resolve to make your membership in our Fraternity a lifelong
commitment to community service. Resolve to make your chapter the
strongest organization on the campus. Resolve to make your
experience as an Active Member meaningful, full of skill
development, and fun. Lastly, resolve to make Alpha Phi Omega the
nation's premier collegiate servant-leader organization!
Last, let us look to our future. As your National President, I
personally commit to finding new ways to help our Fraternity grow
and succeed. The members of our Board of Directors will lead the
Fraternity in planning for the future and laying the foundations
for meaningful programs and support services. Our regional and
sectional volunteers will aid the chapters and Active Members in
developing a strong program of Leadership, Friendship and Service.
Together as a team, Active and Alumni Members will successfully
make our Fraternity one that we are proud to be a member of and
that provides all of us with skills for a lifetime of service and
success.
