Listed below are some web sites that you may find useful in the planning of your project. Please remember this is only a very small list if possible sites with a brief explanation about them.

	www.dosomething.org	Do something is an organization that helps you get involved in your community.
	www.shine.com/volunteer.html	A web search for service projects in your area. Just type in your zip code!
	www.volunteermatch.org	A web search for service projects in your area. Just type in your zip code!
	www.communityservice.org	A web search for service projects in your area. Just type in your zip code!
	www.charity.com	A search engine for different charities in your area that you can choose to work with within the NSW or SYSD theme.
	www.charity.org	Global Impact (R) is a not-for-profit organization, consisting of leading international humanitarian agencies, dedicated to helping the poorest people on earth.
	www.nationalservice.org	The Corporation for National and Community Service provides opportunities for Americans of all ages and backgrounds to serve their communities and country through three programs: AmeriCorps, Senior Corps, and Learn and Serve America.
	national.unitedway.org	The website of the United Way can help find projects on education and health-related projects.
	www.kiwanis.org	Kiwanis International provides humanitarian services worldwide and has a counterpart in college (Circle K). This organization may want to partner with your chapter for NSW or SYSD.
	www.mdausa.org	A voluntary health agency - a dedicated partnership between scientists and concerned citizens aimed at conquering neuromuscular diseases.
	www.modimes.org	The non-profit organization that works to prevent birth defects and infant mortality. Find out how to donate or volunteer, and read news.
	www.bsa.scouting.org	The national website for the Boy Scouts of America.
	www.gsusa.org	The national website for the Girl Scouts USA.
	www.campfire.org	The national website for Campfire USA.
	www.lionsclubs.org	Lions Clubs International provides humanitarian services worldwide.
	www.hhs.gov	Official website of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
	www.ncna.org	The national website for the National Council of Non-profit Associations (NCNA) with links to all state and regional associations representing thousands of non-profits throughout the country.
	www.rotary.org	The national website for Rotary International.
	www.dcinternships.org/ipvs/	The Institute of Philanthropy and Volunteer Service has various volunteer programs and scholarship opportunities for students.

This is by no means an exhaustive list. Use a search engine to come up with other organizations! Talk to your chapter, your professors or even your parents to get ideas. If you type in the words, "Service Clubs," in your browser and you will be taken to any number of sites for Community Service and Volunteer Organizations. National Service Week is yours to do what you want! Be creative!
