Youth Service Organization Interaction Guides and Information

A key role of the National Scouting and Youth Services Committee is to promote interaction between chapters of the Fraternity and youth service organizations.  To undertake this task, the committee has developed a number of publications to assist chapters in developing their program of youth service.

To help your chapter develop or expand opportunities for youth service within your community, check out the Alpha Phi Omega Youth Service Program Development Guide (this guide is still in development).

To help your Scouting and Youth Service Advisor understand their role within your chapter, click here (this guide is still in development) to view a copy of the Alpha Phi Omega Youth Service Advisor’s Guide.

To introduce Alpha Phi Omega to a youth service organization professional in your community, consider providing to them a copy of the Alpha Phi Omega Introduction Sheet that has been developed specifically with youth service organizations in mind.

Over the more than eighty years since Alpha Phi Omega was founded, youth service has been a key component of the Fraternity’s service program.  Though the roots of this service are with the Boy Scouts of America, over the years Alpha Phi Omega chapters have extended that service involvement to include interaction with a number of youth service organizations.
