Absolutely Incredible Kid Day
Absolutely Incredible
Kid
Day is a huge, nationwide letter-writing campaign in which
adults tell children how Absolutely Incredible they are! Alpha Phi
Omega members and chapters have participated in Absolutely
Incredible Kid Day for the past several years, almost since its
inception. This project is an easy way to get started in working
with your local Camp Fire USA council and just to help kids.

It is straightforward to contribute to the project in several ways - for ideas, click here.
If you aren't able to do the project specifically on March 15th, please feel free to pick an alternate day to conduct your project, ideally earlier in March. Start planning now to include this project in your chapter's spring service program.
Camp Fire USA is one of the nation's leading not-for-profit youth development organizations, serving 735,000 participants annually. Camp Fire USA provides all-inclusive, coeducational programs in hundreds of communities across the United States. Camp Fire USA's outcome-based programs include youth leadership development, self-reliance exercises, after school groups, camping, environmental education and child care.
Camp Fire USA takes pride in its long-standing commitment to providing fun programs and services to all children and families in America. Camp Fire USA is inclusive, open to every person in the community, welcoming children, youth and adults regardless of race, religion, socioeconomic status, disability, sexual orientation or other aspect of diversity. Camp Fire USA's programs are designed and implemented to reduce gender-role, racial and cultural stereotypes and to foster positive intercultural relationships.
Given these stated program goals of character and leadership development in community service with an open and diverse membership, it really makes sense for Alpha Phi Omega chapters to work with Camp Fire USA.
