About the Leadership Resources Clearinghouse
The Leadership Resources Clearinghouse is a program sponsored
by the National Leadership Development Committee of Alpha Phi Omega
and is intended to provide an archive for workshop materials,
specifically lecture notes, slides, handouts, and other documents
that can be used by the Brothers of Alpha Phi Omega. Originally it
was intended for future workshop presenters to use this material to
write even better workshops for the next conference. It is
certainly still used for that. However, over the few years the
Clearinghouse has existed, Brothers who were not able to attend a
conference came here to gain the knowledge that they missed. Also,
Brothers who were at the conference but didn't get a copy of the
handouts can find them here. In many ways the Clearinghouse has
become a reference library for any and all topics regarding the
interests of the Fraternity's members.
The condition of the workshop material varies. Since the
Clearinghouse began from primarily hard copies, many of the early
submissions are scans of handwritten notes. Not the easiest things
to read, but at least the concepts are there. As time progressed
and more electronic submissions were made, the quality of the PDF
files improved (for more information about the history of the
Clearinghouse,

intent of the Clearinghouse is to capture what the original author
presented. That means, if the notes were submitted with a certain
background for the slides for example or the outline was done in a
certain way, it is still there. Everything on the Clearinghouse is
"as is", just like it was when the presenter gave it to the
webmaster. This preservation is the reason the PDF format was
selected for the files. It is the best way to preserve each
author's original work. All new material submitted to the
Clearinghouse must be submitted as the original WORD/POWERPOINT/etc
file from the author, which will be converted to PDF format for
archival.
Documents and workshop materials in the Clearinghouse are provided
as a courtesy and a service by unpaid, volunteer staff members of
our Fraternity. You are free to incorporate information from these
previous workshops into your own work, but please be respectful of
the hard work that our volunteers have put into this and make sure
that you give appropriate credit to the original author(s) of the
information that you use.

Resources Clearinghouse, please contact the
