ACHIEVE: Achieving Success Through Teams

Course Length: 3 Hours

Minimum Number of Participants: 12
Maximum Number of Participants: 30

Prerequisite: LAUNCH.

This course focuses on the interaction of members in the chapter, the leader(s) and the factors that lead to team success. The course centers skill development on the Team Achievements model and celebrating success.

Objectives:

• To provide participants with team approaches and the opportunity to practice these skills.

• To view a chapter as a team and framework for more effective chapter operations.

• To understand the stages of a team development and team process.

Content Sections:

• What is a team?

• The importance of being a good follower.

• Understanding the interaction of various members of a team.

• Resolving conflicts within teams.

• Respecting and utilizing the diversity of a team.

• Utilizing effective skills for team achievements.

• Celebrating individual and team success.
