Board of Directors

The Board of Directors, as prescribed by the National Bylaws, is the governing body of the Fraternity between National Conventions. The Board has the power (within the confines of the Bylaws) to act on all matters it deems to be in the best interest of the Fraternity.

The Board consists of the following elected members:

  • National President
  • National Vice President
  • Six Program Directors
  • Eleven Region Directors

and the following Ex-officio members:

  • National Executive Director
  • National Legal Counsel
  • National Archivist
  • International Relations Director
  • Past National Presidents
  • Life Members of the Board
  • a representative of the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America

The Board is required to meet at least annually. Actions taken by the Board are reported to chapters in the Torch & Trefoil, the Fraternity's quarterly magazine.

Each convention elects the National President, Vice President and six Program Directors. Also at each convention, the chapters in attendance from each Region elect the eleven Region Directors. All elected members serve two-year terms.
