Once in a while the questions generated on the college/university campuses. Why is there a need for a National Fraternity? Why is there a need for a National Office?
There are really long answers for those questions, but in this space we will keep the answers short and to the point. The national fraternity gives organization, purpose, recognition and authority to the collective efforts of the students that join Alpha Phi Omega on their individual campuses. The national office is the administrative center for programs of the fraternity as well as the administrative arm that insures that the structure stays "glued" together.
In our pledge manual it states that the national office keeps permanent records of all members and chapters. Today our records reflect over 300,000 brothers, more than 700 chapters and 20,000 life members. As you might imagine those numbers increase everyday.
In addition the national office provides a host of services to members, chapters, alumni and staff.
The national office by its very nature is a service to the members. If you have questions or concerns please use the information below to contact the national office today or anytime.
The office hours are from 8:45 AM to 4:45 PM (central time) Monday through Friday.
Visitors are always welcome.
