Elected by the 1962 National Convention to serve as National President. Dr. Steig, who first joined Alpha Phi Omega in 1937 as an advisor to Alpha Lambda Chapter at North Dakota State University, applied his talents to expanding Alpha Phi Omega and made many friends for our Fraternity throughout his term of office.
