Fraternity

Joined Alpha Phi Omega as a member of Chi Chapter at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1959. Served as region 10 director (1968-1980). Served as national vice president (1980-1982). Served as nation president (1982-1986). During his terms the Fraternity saw improved communication with all chapters and a greatly enlarged leadership development program. The international aspects of Alpha Phi Omega were highlighted during his second term. Also during this time, Patrick W. Burke was selected as our fifth National Executive Director.

Awards

Awarded the chapter DSK (1960), national DSK (1978), regional DSK (1982) and alumni DSK (1988). Named fall pledge namesake (1993).

Community

Served as Scoutmaster and with Cub Scout programs. Active in church choir.
