Alpha Phi Omega has designated the first week of November as National Service Week, in order to unify chapters with a national theme and to inspire expansion of chapter service programs. During this week every chapter is encouraged to carry out a new, high profile service project related to the program of emphasis and involving other chapters and the community.

The National Service Week program of emphasis for 2016 is "Improving Literacy for Children."

Important Dates:

"Improving Literacy for Children " November 6-12, 2016

NOTE: National Service Week participation is optional, but a project report (whether a project was done or not) must be submitted annually by November 15 through the Chapter Officer Portal.
