2010 Boy Scout Jamboree

Dear brother,

It is the start to another busy fall and we are excited to have the opportunity to continue sharing fraternity news with the amazing Alpha Phi Omega alumni through Alumni Connection.

For new alumni or those who have not recieved this e-newsletter in the past, Alumni Connection is a bimonthly newsletter sent specifically to the alumnni of APO. Its content includes the latest in fraternity news and information, as well as reminders and tips.

Save us to your contacts so you don't miss a single issue this year! Also remember that Alumni Connection is always excited to hear news about our APO brothers, so feel free to e-mail the Alumni Connection Editorial Team with information on how you continue to live the Cardinal Principles of Leadership, Friendship and Service. This information will be shared both in the Alumni Connection, as well as in the Brother Notes department of the redesigned Torch & Trefoil.

Enjoy the rest of your summer!

2009 Friendship and Retention Grant Awarded to Nine Chapters

Congratulations to the nine chapters awarded the 2009 Friendship and Retention Grant. This is the first year for the grant and it was a great success. Chapters who recieved a grant will be expected to create an event that will invite uninvolved members back for a fellowship activity in order to renew the bonds of brotherhood. We look forward to sharing more about the events these chapters organize and conduct!

Check out the August Chapter Video of the Month!  It's an incredibly entertaining music video from Lambda Mu Chapter at California State University, Los Angeles. What a talented music group and chapter!

If a chapter you work with or your alumni association made a great YouTube video that you would like to share with the Fraternity, please feel free to e-mail a link to the Alumni Connection Editorial Team.
