Arrival and Departure

In order to take full advantage of the National Volunteer Conference, we recommend that you plan on arriving into the Independence area mid-afternoon on Thursday. This should give you plenty of time to register, check into your hotel room and dine before the opening events start.

Free Airport Shuttle - using Agenda KC

There will be a free Airport Shuttle with the following trips scheduled:

Thursday - Four shuttle trips are scheduled: 1:00; 3:00; 5:00; 7:00

(times are approximate and will be adjusted as arrival times are provided)

Sunday - APO National Office Tour morning: 9:30

Sunday - Two shuttle trips are scheduled: 10:00 & 12:00

There will be no other shuttle trips available. If these times do not work for you - you will need to make other arrangements.

From Kansas City Airport- Take 435 South to I-70 East. Exit at Little Blue Parkway/Exit 17. turn left onto E. Jackson Drive. The hotel is on the left.
From I-70 East - Take Exit 17/Little Blue Parkway. turn left onto E. Jackson Drive. The hotel is on the left.
