Helped with the reactivation of Iota Rho Chapter, Florida State University in the Fall 1989. Serves as Chair of Advisory Committee since 1989; Served as Chapter Advisor to Rho Gamma – California State University, Long Beach and Alpha Alpha Tau - Tallahassee Community College; Served on Section 1 staffs in numerous positions (1978-1985). Has served in numerous positions on the Section 74 staff from 1986 thru 2008. Currently serving as Section 75 Chair since 2008. Served as Section 1 Chair (1985-1986) and Section 74 Chair (1995-1996); Served as Region X Scouting Relations Coordinator (1983-1986) and Region IV Scouting Relations/Scouting and Youths Services Coordinator (1986-1996). Served as Region IV Director (1996-2002). As a member of the National Board of Directors (1996-2002), served on Executive Director Search Committee, Regional Realignment Committee, Fall Pledge Namesake Committee, Membership Strategic Planning Committee, and Extension Strategic Planning Committee. Serves as a Member of the National Scouting and Youth Services committee since 1984. Has served in the position as APO liaison to the Boy Scouts of America since 2002. APO representative to National Order of the Arrow Conferences since 1988 and to the National BSA Council Meetings since 1991. Attended all National Conventions since 1984. Served as National Convention Reference Committee Advisor, 1984, 1988, 1990, 1996, 2004; Attended APO-Philippines National Convention – 1999; Brother of APO-Philippines – Kappa Theta Chapter – Davio Doctors College, Batch 1999; Served on CPW Staff from 1988 thru 2002. Life Member, Silver Founders Circle Torchbearer.

Community

Serving Boy Scouts of America as a Member of Suwannee River Area Council Executive Board for the past 18 years. Have served as Council Vice President of Administration, Council Vice President of Program, National Council Representative, Western Region Order of the Arrow Committee, Order of Arrow Advisor (3 different Councils), Order of the Arrow Associate Lodge Adviser, Order of the Arrow Associate Section W4A Advisor, Order of the Arrow Section W4A Advisor, Council Camping Chair, District Program Chair (2 different Councils), District Camping Chair. Serving as a Member of the National Jewish Committee on Scouting for the past 10 years and Southern Region Chair for the past 8 years; Serving on the National Community Relationship Community representing Alph Phi Omega since 2003. Have received the following awards: Woodbadge, Seabadge, Vigil Honor, O/A Founder’s Award, O/A Lodge Distinguished Lodge Service Awards – Malibu Lodge 566 and Spe-Le-Yai Lodge 249, District Award of Merit, Silver Beaver, James West Fellow, Community Relations Service Award (Herbert G Horton) and numerous training awards.

Life member of Alpha Epsilon Pi Fraternity. Served as Phi Tau Chapter Advisor – Florida State University - 1987-1992 and Regional Governor 1988-1998 (Southeast).
