Michael Brown (Alpha Delta Tau '98)

APO Bio:

Pledged Alpha Delta Tau Chapter in Fall 1998. Long time pledgemaster and received Chapter DSK for this work.

Currently serve Alpha Delta Tau as their Scouting advisor. Helped establish the Southeast Florida Alumni Association. Member of the Section 74 Staff as the Southeast Florida Representative. Was a member of the Leadership Series Revision Committee, which did the recent revamp of the Leadership Series. Member of Region IV staff as the Scouting & Youth Services Chair. Member of the National Media & Technology and chair the Resource CD Group. Member of the National History & Archive Committee.

Completed LDW, and attended three SRWs as well as several Conferences. A workshop presenter at the 2000 & 2004 National Convention (and hopefully the 2006 NatConv) and several Region IV & Section 74 Confrences.

Scouting bio: (briefly)

30+ year veteran of the BSA (youth & adult). Involved with the Venturing program in 3 councils. Am a Vigil Honor Member of the OA and involved with 2 Lodges. Completed Wood Badge and am a Wood Badge Staffer. Completed OA's NLS & NLATS and Sea Badge. Have been to five National Jamborees, four as staff, and attended several NOACs. Been to Philmont (twice) and the Florida Sea Base (twice). Involved with training with the Florida OA Section and NOAC in the area of American Indian Activities.
