Torch and Trefoil

Alpha Phi Omega is excited to provide brothers with free, online access to Torch & Trefoil, the official quarterly publication of the Fraternity. With changes in technology and the ever growing demand for digital content, APO is thrilled to offer this magazine in an electronic format.

Above is the most recent issue of Torch & Trefoil with dynamic content for brothers to explore. The Related Publications link attached to the current issue will provide access to the three previous magazines that have been published.

A complete archive of the magazine can be found at http://www.apoarchive.org. The Fraternity is pleased to provide this amazing resource for free to members. The APOarchive.org site is searchable and has PDF copies of the magazine/newsletter going back to 1927. (Please also see the ad on the right.)

Feel free to contact publications@apo.org with comments, questions and concerns regarding the magazine.

History...

Originally named the Lightbearer, the Fraternity launched the first official issue in 1927 with nationwide chapter distribution. The publication was renamed Torch & Trefoil in 1935 and has continued with this name for 80 years. Torch & Trefoil has gone through many changes with the times. We remain dedicated to providing content covering a range of material - programming, chapter news and events, Fraternal issues and achievements and other matters pertaining to the growth and evolution of APO - and hope the changes we make help meet the evolving needs of our members.
