On Saturday, March 27 at 8:30 p.m. (your local time) everyone will turn out their lights and turn off all electrical appliances, etc.

Earth Hour is a worldwide effort which is easy to participate in to promote its efforts by “shutting down” for one hour.  Our participation will have major environmental savings!  Many of our chapter's universities may already be promoting and participating in Earth Hour on their campuses.
