Alpha Phi Omega has partnered with Shop2Care, a new not-for-profit online shopping program, to help chapters easily earn money this fall. Chapters can earn a dollar for each new person who registers and downloads the Shop2Care browser app now through January 31, 2015.
Here's how the program will work:
- Chapters get as many people as possible to sign up with Shop2Care and download the free browser app via www.shop2care.org/apo
- Chapters will earn $1 for each new user who registers with Shop2Care under the chapter (using the school name in the drop down menu) and downloads the app by January 31, 2015
- The top three chapters who have the most people register and download the app will earn incentive bonuses in the amounts of $250, $500 and $1,000
- Those who register and download the free app can shop online as they normally would and have a rebate from their purchases (average of five percent) go to charity thanks to the Shop2Care app.
Chapters also have the opportunity to designate a liaison for the Shop2Care program in order to get more involved in the promotion of this partnership. For more information on becoming a Shop2Care chapter liaison, please contact Karen Asofsky at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Shop2Care browser app is now available. To learn more about Shop2Care and the registration process, visit www.shop2care.org/apo.
*All money earned by chapters will be paid to the National Fraternity who will forward payments to chapters in Spring 2015.
